Conveyancing leagues
Welcome to the Conveyancing Leagues for 2011!
Each agency office in the Move with Us Partner Network can earn extra revenue by joining the conveyancing leagues. The conveyancing service is an easy and cost effective way to offer your clients extra services while you also benefit.
The leagues have been set up to ensure a healthy competition amongst agents and so that you and your staff can earn extra revenue.
If you require any further assistance, do not hesitate to contact the team at our head office click here to email us.
Below are a list of questions you might have about the leagues.
How was starting league position decided?
The league positions are based on your final position at the end of November 2011. This also takes into account promotions & relegations for the final period.
Why are there now two leagues for individuals for my office?
We have introduced two individual leagues to try and “level the playing field”. After listening to a number of agents it has become clear that the winners of the individual leagues have tended to be valuers, as they have the most opportunity to sell the conveyancing e.g. you will list more houses than you sell most months. So to try and create more competition and to help motivate your teams we have separated the leagues to reflect this. We will now have a vendor case league and a buyer case league. This should separate out the listers from the negotiators and create even more competition.
What’s the difference between a vendor and purchaser case?
A vendor file is just that, a client that is a vendor of yours that is instructing conveyancing at point of listing or sale. A purchaser is a buyer that is instructing conveyancing. If you have a vendor that has agreed a sale and also has an offer accepted on their new purchase then this will still count as two files. A buyer will be the same if they have an offer accepted on both their purchase and sale.
What are the rewards for winning?
There will be trophies for the winner of the top office each month along with annual trophies for the top performers. The individual leagues will reward the top three people in each league equally. So the first placed in the vendor league and the first placed in the buyer league will receive the same reward. There may be other rewards on offer throughout the year so keep reading the updates! Please note the prizes will be paid in bonus bonds unless otherwise stated.
Why do the higher leagues have bigger rewards than the lower?
This is to reward the top performers and to motivate those in the lower leagues to push for promotion so they have the opportunity to win more.
How do I get into the higher leagues?
We will continue to run promotion and relegations each month with the top five in each division being promoted whilst the bottom five are relegated. The incentive is there to get into the Super League, where the prizes are the best!
What happens if the top two offices/ individuals are on the same number of cases at the end of the month?
In the first instance we will look at conversion rates, i.e. the better conversion rate will win. If still a tie then the prize will be shared - for example first and second added together and split evenly.
What happens if I instruct a vendor who is buying on again, will it count as two files?
Yes, once the purchase file becomes active it will count as a second instruction; i.e. when the property is SSTC and the vendor has a related purchase. Until this point only the vendors sale file will be counted in the league.
