Dismiss independent estate agents at your peril says Move with Us
Property specialist Move with Us believes that talk of the demise of the independent estate agent is both premature and presumptuous.
The firm works with independent, accredited estate agents across the country and believes that the independent estate agency has a tremendous role to play in the local community. In many cases they offer buyers and sellers a level of local expertise and knowledge that simply cannot be matched by corporate out of town offices.

I believe that part of their success will come from the fact that innovation is not stifled by dictates from a remote head office. In difficult times they will continue to keep fighting for business when a branch office may be closed sooner if centrally set targets are missed. Additionally, I think that great store should be placed in the fact that for the independent firms it is their business and name at stake and not just their jobs that they will fight to protect. What is true is that a significant focus this year should be on opportunities to diversify and add income streams to their business and we will continue to support independent firms in this endeavour.”
