Buy-to-let market expands
The buy-to-let market has recently increased with an increasing number of mortgages being approved by providers.
Research carried out by Moneyfacts has shown that the number of buy-to-let mortgages available is at its highest peak since 2008. As it stands there are 485 different types of mortgage to choose from, a significant leap from the 243 available in 2010.
A spokeswoman at Moneyfacts, Louise Holmes noted on houseladder.co.uk that: " ‘Many aspiring homeowners have had their property dreams dashed due to strict lending criteria and large deposits, meaning the only option left is to rent.’
The industry figure added the latest findings should make pleasant reading for both landlords and property investors.”
